Turtl
Design systems
During my three years at Turtl, I focused on building robust visual systems for over 50 global brands, including Amazon, Toyota, and KPMG. My role combined strategic brand implementation with hands-on content creation, from editorial design and custom illustration to art directing photography and video for international campaigns. Additionally, I played a key role in scaling the creative team, mentoring new talent to ensure visual consistency across all platforms.
‘The Egg’ was Turtl’s monthly digital publication, serving as a hub for community updates and resources. From 2020 until its final issue, I was responsible for the visual direction of its covers, creating an extensive series of abstract illustrations. Each piece was built on a shifting color palette that reflected the month of release, forming a cohesive multi-year collection. A key focus was developing a responsive illustrative system that maintained its impact across both mobile and desktop screens.

At Turtl, I worked with existing brand guidelines and transformed them into scalable systems for interactive content. This meant building templated document designs, reusable visual components, and clear creative rules that allowed companies to create polished, on-brand experiences at speed. Each system balanced consistency with flexibility, giving internal teams the tools to produce engaging documents without losing the distinct character of their brand.
